                                     -

Description
===========
DCPcrypt is a freeware library of cryptographic routines for use with Delphi.
I have placed DCPcrypt in the public domain so that it can be used, modified
and distributed with out restriction. Please note that although this library
may be used freely, some of the algorithms implemented within are subject to
patents and so a license from the patent holder must be obtained in some
cases before use of the algorithm is permitted.

The lastest version of DCPcrypt can be obtained from
http://www.scramdisk.clara.net/
or you can email me at davebarton@bigfoot.com

If you email please use PGP if possible. My key is available from my web page
and the PGP key server LDAP://certserver.pgp.com my KeyID is 0x436BFC2B.

Information on the algorithms implemented in this library is in Algorith.txt.

Installation
============
These instructions assumes that you have already unzipped the DCPcrypt files.

Using Delphi 1: Go to the Options menu and select Install Components then
                press the add button and select the CryptReg.pas from where
                you unzipped the package.
Using Delphi 2: Go to the Component menu and select Add the press the add
                button and select the CryptReg.pas from where you unzipped the
                package.
Using Delphi 3: Open the DCP3.dpk package and press the install button.
Using Delphi 4: Open the DCP4.dpk package and press the install button.

The Components
==============
DCPcrypt can now be compiled in two different ways,
  1. With the implementations as components.
  2. With the implementations as sets of procedures.

To change which way you want to compile the library just;
  1. Open the DCPcrypt.inc file with a text editor or into your IDE.
  2. There will be a {$DEFINE CFORM} statement, comment this out to use
     standalone form, uncomment it to use component form.

Component Form
==============
When using the component form, all of the components are derived from one of
two base components, TDCP_blockcipher and TDCP_hash.

Procedure Form
==============
When using the procedure form, all of the implementations are used by calling
the appropriate procedure. eg. BlowfishInit(Data,Key,Sizeof(Key)*8,nil);

Usage
=====
For information on how to use these implementations please see Usage.txt and
the demos.

Distribution
============
Please redistribute this package freely and unmodified. I have included a PGP
signature to ensure that the package you are using is not modified.
